Word: Selvage (Noun)

Definition: the edge of woven fabric finished so as to prevent raveling, often in a narrow tape effect, different from the body of the fabric.

Synonyms: boundary, line, outskirt, bound, bounds, brim, brink. 
Antonyms: center, inside, interior, middle, mainland.
Example Sentence:
Selvage at bottom of chain link fence fabric shall be barbed, unless otherwise specified.
